The team
Thanasis Bizos
Thanasis grew up and studied in Athens. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources & Agricultural Engineering and an MBA in Agribusiness both obtained from the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. Through his master he gained the opportunity to work for the University of Warsaw.
His mingling and communication with people from various countries and cultures, his participation in high-demand projects, as well as his dealing with challenges that modern agriculture faces, are only some of the experiences he collected during his stay in Poland.
Along with his studies and until now, he has been working for his family retail business. This has been giving him significant communication, managerial and coordination skills.
At present, Thanasis specializes even more in the management and governance of agricultural cooperatives by being educated in experiential seminars. Also, he is trained at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos on systemic and dialectic approaches in order to develop new skills and achieve his life mission; to help groups of people and human systems to communicate in a more effective way and collaborate productively.
His firm belief in the potential of sustainable cooperation to solve many current and on-going economic, social, and cultural challenges, combined with all the aforementioned, justify his certainty that Co-opAbility Institute will be a valuable tool for people and communities who are willing to collaborate and truly connect through cooperation.
